2011 begins my 3rd year with Flickr. I received my first camera for my 14th birthday. A Brownie box camera. It took great black and white pics and I used it until age 21. My first serious camera was an Olympus SLR and I took a few camera courses to learn to use it. I'm still a very amateur photographer and have graduated from a couple point and shoots to a Nikon D5000. Joining Flickr renewed my love of photography and I shoot whatever catches my eye. It has made me more aware of my surroundings again. I recently bought an Olympus Stylus 7010 for a light camera when I don't want to take the big one along. My granddaughter saw my camera collection and asked me "How many cameras do you own, Grandma". To which I replied "As many as I want". She and her brother also enjoy using my cameras, so they will be put to good use.
