I live in the Highlands of Scotland and hava a lab background. Iam an enthusiast photographer, love landscape and garden photography, 54 years old, would love to be professional photographer some day, but have much to learn. I am inspired by Joe Cornish and David Noton, but especially Clive Nicholls, the best British plant and Garden photographer, whom I admire and hope to emulate. I love positive feedback so I may improve.
I have a recently aquired Nikon D300 which I absolutely love,and my lenses include a Nikon18-200 VR, a Nikon105mm macro, Sigma 70-200 macro, 50mm 1.8 and Tokina 12-24, with a SB-600 and I use Lightroom 2 and CS3.
I love visiting gardens all over Scotland with my wife who is a great gardener, then we split up and I take my shots....!!, then we meet for coffee...!!!
I used to live in Devon near Rosemoor NT gardens and miss my frequent visits there.
I love hearing from my contacts, whom I admire as really good photographers, and very nice people.
