I started a 365 Self Portrait project about 300-something days ago, but I realized today, that none of these portraits I have taken are of me. I manipulate the photographs to a very high extent that they do not show my expression, my emotions, nor my physical being. By viewing these pictures today, and walking down the same street as me tomorrow, you wouldn't be able to recognize me.
I am not a self portrait artist. Just a photographer and a manipulator. And that's okay. Just as long as you enjoy even one of the pieces I have come up with, my goal is complete.
