"I've not long discovered Alice 144's photography. The first picture I saw was the one taken from Portmerion looking through two arches. Alice 144 has a lovely eye for composition, not only that but an ability to vary the compositional style and DOF for the subject, while maintaining a unity and integrity of style. Wether the picture is a landscape or one of a musician in a band the same integrity and feel is there. Thre is also a clean sense of composition, one is imediately aware of the sbject wether it is in a wider context or isolated and occupying most of the frame. The pictures are both eyecatching and can convey a sense of feeling and peace, a difficult combination of attributes to combine in photography.
She also undrestands her camera and lens well and can use them to good effect."15th July, 2009
