It is time for an update...
Jan 2010
Since joining Flickr at the beginning of the year 2009 to use to stream pictures of my art work to my website, I have become totally ADDICTED!..............I am a colour and visual junkie - having spent almost 30 years designing fabrics ...I see in pattern and colour, so creating the crazy fractal, mandala, kaleidoscopes is my idea of heaven and can get lost creating for hours, ............
I have recently been given a new camera, slowly learning to take better pictures, but find it difficult to just post up without manipulating!!!
BUT sadly need to wean myself off, as I really don't have the TIME - what with teaching, running workshops, helping run the shop/ plus trying to keep up creating stock for the shop, I also design /produce a quarterly magazine for Omnia (part of MIND). ... and all the time I am thinking of Flickr! ....will not do... think I have been brainwashed:-))
It is such a visual feast each morning seeing what everyone has posted up, from all over the WORLD, so wonderful to be able to SHARE in this community.
I really appreciate all my Flickr Friends and try to comment, in the time that I have - sorry it is often only one word, ...but I am not a very wordy person, being dyslexic and my spelling is appalling :=((
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who comments, invites or takes the time to view my photostream. I appreciate it more than you know, the fact that you have made time to do this means a lot.
I try to find the time to look at your photostreams in return.

I am sorry I have to add this
Please don't make me a contact unless you intend SHARING (have pictures I can view) and COMMENTING, for me that is what Flickr is about.
It is not in the spirit of Flickr to just FAVE and put peoples work in your galleries -
I block people who do this - if you like my work say so - it is polite to show your appreciation to the artists who spent time and effort creating them!.

Thank You
Diana

"I've been following Diana's published work on Flickr for the better part of three years and I never cease to be amazed by the wonderful images she conjures up. I have collected a lot of her pictures in my 'favourites' and the only reason I don't comment on everything she posts is that I've long since run out of superlatives!

So it's high time I wrote this testimonial and I'll address the rest of this directly to you, Diana.

By now, you should be able to guess what I'm going to say about every image - if you've designed it, I love it! I shall go on looking out for each one you post and, if I can think of something to say that I haven't said many times before, I'll do my best. For the moment, let this testimonial be a clear indication that I admire your talent enormously, I really enjoy looking at the gorgeous colours and intricacies of your designs, I'm astonished by the depth of creativity you display and, amidst all this, I'm truly grateful for your kindness in commenting on my own contributions.

You epitomise all that's best in the Flickr community and I'm so glad to have found you and proud to call you a friend.

    Ken"

"Diana - your images are magical, mystical and magnificent
I look forward to what beautiful art concoction you will come up with
You are like a chemist - mixing the right elements in the most
unusual way - so as to make lovely eye catchers that beg to
    be looked at....with much admiration....Sylvie"

"Goodness, I'm so late in writing Diana a testimonial, I feel embarrassed.

It has been and continues to be a daily visual treat to find Diana's prolific array of gorgeous artwork. And now some nature photography as well.

Diana impresses and inspires me. Her fractal mix designs have a unique life of their own. I am always immersed and enveloped in her scenes. Her skill with design and colors is nothing less than fabulous.

And I must express my appreciation to know someone who is willing to continually follow my work. Knowing how busy she is, this makes me feel loved.

Diana you are a cherished friend,
    Big hugs Renee☺"

"Diana creates some of the most beautifiul, colourful and detailed digital and abstract art I have found on flckr.
Diana posts some of her work to an art group I admin and I find myself wanting to leave a comment on almost everything she posts.
I have recently discovered her art works created from various recycled materials, very creative and imaginitive stuff. Diana's photostream is one that is not only worth a visit, but one you will want to revisit once in a while."

"A green Artist who uses everyday items which are recycled to make such beautiful structures of different objects. Such as your average shoe or an animal found in everyones backyard. Creating them using recycled things like paper and wire. Very brilliant artistic and recycleable being. Love her work and glad I discovered her :D"
