Born and raised in Southern California - my parents then emigrated to England, where I still live. When I'm not wandering the world ...

I travel - everywhere ... and take pictures - of everything ... of plants, animals, sunsets and moons - places, faces ...

And I love cats ...

Until I went digital, I used (and loved!) a Canon EOS 500N - most of my scanned photos were taken using that. I could not afford to buy the digital version, so I have been trying out various compact cameras.

And this year Santa brought me a slide scanner ... so I have been busy converting my father's collection of old slides (some going back to the 1940s) into a more visual format.

As for my photo collection - I use Flickr as a secure photo storage system. If my computer goes bang, my photos don't vanish with it. And if any of my photos make people smile, that makes me smile too ... :-)

PS - nameless, faceless people with no available photos will be barred ... just so you know ...
