We are an artist run record label who's staff includes artist that are all a part of the Bay Area indie music scene. 500 Records was established in 2005 as a music collective, to help artists and bands who did not have the attention of a "real" record label. Over the past 3 years we have work with many great bands and have increased our usefulness to bands by moving towards being a "real" record label. In late 2008, we partnered with the established bay area record label, Three Ring Records, whose experience and enthusiasm for local music has allowed 500 Records to secure full national and international distribution for its current and prospective artists in the both the physical and digital realm. We are indeed now a "real" record label...
