Have been an artist internally since i was 5 years old. Studied art in S. California back in my old Hippie days but then was forced into many years of jobs with little creativity. Now retired i have been feeding my artistic side well and doing digital photography with strong post-processing for a few years now. It helps satisfy my very active creative urge.
The actual detailed photos are great but i truly enjoy pumping them up a bit and going wandering further in the impressionistic, surreal, scifi/fantasy and abstract directions. i live for COLOR and LIGHT! Many will probably think my works may be overdone... but the colors, light brightness and contrasts are the basis of the energies i feel when creating these works. i do some HDR, some psuedo HDR, some photo-paintings, and many symmetrical sculptural manipulations with my photos.
i have no set style and i'm not a "high-end" guy, just mostly HDRs, Photoshop Elements, Photomatix, Paint X2 manipulations and a bit of Kaleider work. But these combine into several million possible (actually infinite) creative actions for each photo! Very anxious to learn MORE...
i am very interested in how we REALLY SEE with eyes and brain... and with computer displayed PHOTON driven Art we can do things never before possible in 2 dimensions...
