I started taking photographs at Christmas 2008 so I'm very much a photographic novice. But I'm full of enthusiasm and keen to learn thanks mainly to the inspiration given to me by an extremely talented friend who also introduced me to the delights of Flickr.
So far, I'm learning slowly but steadily through trial and error but thanks mainly to the very kind Flickr members who have taken the time to comment on my photostream. But for me the most important thing is that I'm having fun!!
On a personal level, I'm married, with two grown-up children.
