love photos, I'm self taught. Never had any formal training or taken any classes.

I just started photography way back in 1972 mainly photographing air force planes during the military British base in Malta, at the time I owned an instamatic loaded with a 126 film , the only thing I could afford once printed you could hardly figure out what type of aircraft was in the picture…… but still made me happy.

Thanks to my best friend Martin, his father owned a Pentax spot matic having a tamron lens 300mm made my life much better photographing Lightings / Phantoms / Camberras …. Which I will scan and upload in the near future.

Since then I have always owned Canon, my first one was an AE1, moved to an EOS650 onto an EOS100 till I purchased a used 350D from ebay which was ok for a first digital camera. In 2007 I purchased a new 40D heavy but its a good camera, my next model will hopefully be a 5D MK11 and will cost me to change one of my lenses too but anyway will see about that later … now have upgraded to a 7D 2nd Dec 2010

I love plain and simple type photography, anything at attracts my eyes. I still visit Malta’s yearly air show in September which it great.
