I am a collage and mixed media artist completely obsessed with entomology, ornithology and botany. I work with old books, fairy tales, vintage lace and beads to create my curious creatures. I am also greatly influenced by fashion, especially Alexander McQueen, and also by the artists,Beatrix Potter and Charles Altamont Doyle. I currently live and work in Berkeley, California.
Recently I have begun to make paper blossoms too. I use the paper I have left over from my collage work and then attach the flowers to twigs & sticks that I find in the surrounding Berkeley Hills.....
