Born in Namibia; grew up and educated and married in South Africa (Cape Town); emigrated to Australia in 1996; settled in sunny Queensland, in the tourist seaside town of Hervey Bay. Hervey Bay has a population of about 60 000, and is situated on East Coast of Australia, 3 hours north of Brisbane. It still has that nice rural feel to it.

If I could have it my way, I would surely be traveling 80% of the time, touring and taking pics. Anyway, I enjoy snapping things that I find interesting and beautiful.

Currently using Nikon D800e; Nikon 16-35VR; Nikon 24-120mm VR; Nikon50mm AFS 1.8 and Nikon 105 VR micro and Nikon 70-300mmVR;
RRS L-bracket, Nodal sliding rail and macro sliding rail. Arca Swiss Z1 monoball with RSS mounting plate.
The only filters I carry are B& W Polaroid, Tiffen ND grad 0.6, Fader ND and 3 stop reverse grad Singh-Ray.
When I'm lazy I use a Canon S90.
