My name is Thana Thaweeskulchai. I was born and raised in the city of Bangkok, Thailand. I have spent many years of my life oversea in Singapore and Australia before returning to my hometown.

My interest in photography started since young and peaked during my college years. It was then I seriously pursued photography. I was a self-taught photographer, learning from books and resources from the internet. My only 'formal' training in photography was a free elective course in college. I continue my training and education on my own.

I see myself as a freelance photographer and an aspiring photojournalist. Through my photographs, I try to capture reality and beauty of the world and the lives of the people. I hope to bring the attention of the viewers to things that are usually missed or ignored, and offer a new perspective and insight to issues close to our hearts, whether it is happening down the street or in secluded place on the dark side of the planet. That is my philosophy.

Now I live, work, play and photograph in Bangkok, Thailand.
