Hi ,
I am a fan of historical costumes and love to make them.I have started a bussiness makeing costumes ,so I HAVE to make dresses that can be recreated for people to wear at parties etc ,they also have to be reasonably cheap , because of this they are not always as correct as myself or re enactors would prefer ,I tend not get get much feedback from my husband so I thought I would share some of my outfits and would love some feedback,
I got my husband to take the photos for our website to show off the dresses but I also wanted the photos to tell a story or illustrate a moment in a book ,play or film or sugest a mood ,I didnt want any of the main sites photos to just be dress shots ,I wanted them to be evocative .
I also like to take unusual holidays snaps and they dont usualy make our family albums, so as they just sit on my computer without anyone seeing them ,I thought I would put those on the web in case they were any use to anyone .
The pet photos are on too because I just love to photograph the pets I have three cats A pure bred Bengal ,What seems to be a Norweigan Forest cat and its kitten that rather weirdly looks more like our Bengal cat than her own mother ,we think shes a changeling!
I love pre raphile art and some photos were aimed at recreating that effect .
I have always been a history fan with the tudors being my special love ,
