"grwsh.marcel and I go way back. We are friends, real friends. He feels like a brother to me. Apart from that, we share the same sense of humor, music (at least a few cd's) and photographing.
We don't see each other much, because of the fact that (and he used to as well) live abroad. But every summer when my family I are in the Netherlands we have "our" afternoon together and shoot some planes at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam (at least that is what our wives think we're doing, hahaha) and have some good talks and laughs.
As big as he is, his heart is very small. Marcel has an enormous eye for small details in things and (especially) people around him. He snaps a photo of a person and has an instant title for it. They are often hilarious and sometimes so true and touching.
I am still amazed (and proud) about the way he changed his life and work so drastically only a few years ago.
I never doubt that you couldn't do it.

We have been contacts for quite a while, have we not?
It has been so fun to get to know you and see all the places you have visit, with your unique commentary underneth them. There is some amazing people's shots in your photostream, and I appreciate them even more since I myself suck in taking photo of people. But then you manage to surprise with great architecture or landscape ones as well!
