My name is Unek (unique) a fashion, editorial, beauty and alternative fashion photographer from Albuquerque, New Mexico. My name originated from graffiti of 19 1/2 years and still actively painting today on the streets. 5 years ago I picked up a camera to document my body art known as graffiti on girls. From there I progressed learning lighting and stepped into the fashion industry. Now my work is slowly being seen in small fashion magazines across the nation and commercial advertising. I someday hope to step into the mainstream level of the fashion industry.

I use a simple lighting set up of 2 lights, using mainly a beauty dish and a 44" octabank. I'm a big fan of hard lighting. Majority of the time I'm only using a 1 light source which would be a 16" beauty dish with a 40 degree grid or a 22" beauty dish with a 30 degree grid. I love shooting on location and do not own a studio. I hope you all enjoy my work. If you have any questions dealing with my photography or how i go about my shoots feel free to ask.
