I am new to photography. I got my canon used from my friend who sold it to me for a great deal and I am so appreciative for that. I've been using my new camera since November 2008 and that is when this journey began. Since I began taking pictures I realize how much I love photography and how much I still need to learn. I use adobe lightroom for editing. I really, really want to learn how to use photoshop, but have found that when I try to do it I find it complicated and frustrating. I am open to new ideas, comments and criticism since I am trying to learn and get better. There are so many amazing talented, photographers out there and here on flickr. My friend Katelyn, who is also a flickr member was the person who inspired me and sold me her camera. She is talented and I thank her for sharing her knowledge with me. I also, want to thank my flickr friend who I met on here for being my number 1 fan. She believes in me even when I don't believe in myself. I really want to step outside the photography box and push the envelope a little. I really want to learn how to make the not so attractive or overweight people look and feel good about their pictures. Let's be honest, it's easy to make a pretty, skinny girl look good! I have to be honest that I absolutely love flickr photo sharing. It's the only way that I am using for other's to see my photo's. I do hope that one day I can make a living being a professional photographer, but now I am enjoying the journey and trying to learn what I can from others. Also, I have noticed that there are a lot of perverted people using pornographic images on flickr adding me as a contact and really I don't want to see it! I don't get down like that! I am not against artistic nudes, but please keep your private parts where they belong, in your pants!! Thank you for viewing my photostream and any feedback is greatly appreciated!
