Professional writer, amateur photographer. Some of my photos have accompanied articles I've written for The Wright County Drummer, though. My subjects can best be described as eclectic. The vast majority of the photos here have been taken within Minnesota. I've lived in many places throughout the state in my lifetime. I grew up in the St. Cloud area, went to school at the University of Minnesota, Morris, and now call the western Twin Cities area home.

I've always liked photography; my mom reprimanded me more than once when I was a kid for snapping roll upon roll of "scenic" and "pretty" photos on film I was supposed to be capturing cherished vacation memories on. That hasn't changed, I usually have to make a conscious decision to snap photos of people. I'm getting better at that, though!

Anyways, I've been taking pictures more steadily the last 2 years and have been working on improving my skills. I think I've made some progress. Let me know what you think!
