Mama Fence's photostream

It's me...known as "Fence" or "Mama Fence" to my friends, thanks to having adopted my hubby's nickname "Fence". He's my best friend, and we're so terribly in love that we've spawned--er, welcomed--4 delightful children into our family. While I have been enamored with photography since I was in high school, it wasn't until we had our first child over 5 years ago that I really took on a greater interest in shooting creative and half-way decent photos. I've been shooting with my Canon Rebel for about three years, and just this summer am challenging myself to not only shoot in manual mode all the time (a huge challenge for me, since my kids move so fast I find it hard to get the correct exposure!), but to also *gasp* not edit my photos at all. I love Photoshop and Lightroom, and adding a creative post-processing touch to my photos. This is tough for me, leaving my photos naked (giggle). But, we're also moving and road-tripping from one coast to the other, so having my computer around to edit photos is rather impractical. So here they are, manually exposed and unedited photos, from June 25 on...Thanks for looking and sharing your comments. :D
