Another update to my contacts and anyone else who checks this out; I have had some down time due to health reasons and had hoped to have things set up and ready to go after Christmas but was unable to. Thank you for your infinite patience and messages. I am on the mend...found a LOT of wonderful thrift finds just after Christmas that I can't wait to share. To anyone who may wonder...I am not a picture pirate or anything of the sort, I just spend a lot of time browsing as I have had lots of down time and don't know what to do with myself; the mind says go, go, but the body says no. no. Not trying to whine; just want to say I'm still here.

JUST AN UPDATE....to anyone who is wondering...I will start uploading right after Christmas is over. Too much going on with the holidays. I love looking at everyones beautiful old stuff. I have M.S. and on my down time (in between unpacking) I sit at the computer and look at everything.

I am organizing my things I would like to take pics of and will be happy to share it ALL. I have a lot of neat, pretty, interesting stuff from over the years and thrift stores etc. some of which are: old pictures/art, a lot of old greeting cards, old Life Magazines and Good Housekeeping magazines from the 1930's and 40's of which I will scan the best pages as they are all in perfect condition, old glassware, linens, etc. too much to list.

My mother passed away not long ago and i went through boxes in her attic that had not been unpacked for over 25 years so there is a lot of stuff in there that I remember being in our house in the 1960s when I was a little girl.

So please bear with me a little longer and thank you to those who have e-mailed me, shared, and wished me well in unpacking. It will be fun to share with those of you who have waited with me.

P.S. I also collect turtles; one of my daughters bought me a cute turtle about 5yrs. ago and so it has continued, turtles...turtles...turtles! Also collect old vintage tins and newer ones that catch my eye.

Hi fellow flickr'rs. I am new to flickr so please bear with me as I learn my way around and how to do everything.

Thank you for all of the beautiful artwork to look at; very soothing and fun. I have picked several faves to look at while I'm sitting having coffee. If anyone minds, please send me a message.

I am a massage therapist(currently inactive), mother of four, love going to thrift stores, garage/estate sales, etc and am always collecting pieces of jjunk (treasures to me); that I can turn into something. I wonder what the check out person thinks sometimes when I come through the line and they see the weird assortments of stuff I have gathered through the store. Also keep constant journals going which include one for each of my kids who are age 15 to 28, so they can read them and know a little more about their old mom!

I have recently started aceo and atc's with my daughter who is 17, and she has come up with some interesting and fun ones to reach her age group and this is fun. She is a very creative artist and does a lot of drawing with a fun imagination.

I am in the middle of a move and all of my arts and craft supplies are still in boxes. It will be about 3 weeks before we get into the house and then I will organize and take pictures to upload so thank you for your patience.

If anyone would like to give me any helpful hints on aceo's I am open since we are enjoying making our stuff but I'm not very knowledgeable about the ;world of aceo and atc's.
