  "Rowena's work is so unique in multiple ways that if you saw a photograph that she took, you can instantly match up that it belongs to her. That's one goal I try to do as an artist and photographer as well, but you successful accomplished it. Your lighting within your photos is processed different from others, and it is definitely eye catching. Your use of fog is also incredible, creating the attention to be directed towards the subject, almost as if the fog is a form of negative space so all eyes should be on the subject. Another thing that I love about your work is the way you incorporate emotion through objects and symbols, such as the scarves floating. It's a wonderful concept you have started and i've always followed up on that. You're a wonderful sweet person as well as a great photographer."

  Your photos have gotten so good, and so genuine. That's what really makes them special, I get the sense that you're really just doing it for the love of doing it. You and your models/friends are really having fun, and that's something that's enviable and hugely inspiring. That chemistry, that approach is just something that comes naturally and you've got it. It might not be teachable or transferable, but it is something for the rest of us to aspire to.
  
  Technically, you have an incredible eye for light. What you do with sunsets and golden hour is something that I've been trying to steal since I saw you do it. Well that's not true, I mostly come out at night. But I've been wanting to steal it, and the next time I find myself shooting someone into the sun I'll try to keep your shots in mind as a guide.
  
  And you're also just a really nice person. Even if I post a completely shit image, you'll find something to say about it that puts a smile on my face. That kind of support is so important with something like photography, where self-reflection and doubt is inevitable.
  
  Point is, you're bound to like Rowena's work, and you'll be inspired by it. And if she likes your work you'll have a new friend.

  "I honestly didn’t know where to start favouriting photos when I first found Rowena’s stream. Her shots are so full of life and energy, usually taken in some random field or outdoor location. A lot also feature hair or an article of clothing flowing hypnotically in the wind. The most impressive skill she has though is her use of light. I’ve never seen so many shots directly into the sun that have a perfect exposure, brilliant colour cast, and overall professional composition. Her photos are a real treat."
