Introduction

I have never been interested in making anything that’s beautiful or entertaining. I am only interested in making something that scars.

Although I seemingly work solely in photography, photography was never what I wanted to do. It was an accident and more of a compromise. I had always wanted to be a filmmaker, director, but I also want to work to a level of professionalism, a level that was almost impossible to achieve economically if I wanted to shoot video. I found that I could achieve the cinematic economically with stills. This was until I go the 7D which has now given me a chance to produce quality video work, however I have neglected to show anything yet until I am satisfied, but continue to shoot shorts and have written two feature screenplays which have been shelved until I feel I can do them justice. As well as photography and film I am very much involved in graphic design and typography, I’m pretty much obsessed with all things creative so I try and get involved with everything I find interesting.
