Me leva longe a galopar
Take me galloping far away
Nem que seja num cometa incandescente,
Even if it is on the tail of traveling comet,
Por mais de dois milenios viajar
To travel for more than two millenium
Seguindo a Luz que nos transcende.
Following the Light that transcends us.
Procuro exilio num lugar distante,
I am looking for exile in a secluded place,
Num mundo que seja o inverso dessa Terra.
In a world that is opposite to this Earth.
Livre de fronteiras separando gentes,
Free of borders that separates peoples,
Dominado pela Paz no lugar das guerras.
Ruled by Peace instead of wars.
Longe das dores que nos oprimem,
Far away from the pain that opresses us,
Onde somente os bons sobreviverão,
Where only the good ones will survive,
Sem seguir leis e falsos regimes.
Without following laws and false government.
O importante é ter limpo o coração.
What is important is to have pure heart.
Não, não quero a proteção desintegradora,
No, I do not want the distructive protection,
Nem desejo ser o fruto de um progresso bruto.
Nor do I wish to be the product of progress at any cost.
Pois, o avanço tecnologico, hoje nos bitola,
For, the technological, advancement today limits us,
E, pouco à pouco, nos transforma,
And, little by little, it transforms us,
Em escravos do futuro.
Into slaves of the future.
A vida aqui na Terra não é como antes;
Life here on Earth is not the same as before;
Existem falsidades e ameaças em tudo.
There is falsehoods and threats in everthing.
Por isso eu quero ir por caminhos distantes
That is why I want to go my own way
Seguindo eternamente em busca de outro mundo.
To eternality follow the search for another world.
Onde não haja fomes a nos degludir
Where there is no hunger that destroy us all
E sim, boas razões prá gente cantar.
And yes, good reasons, for us to sing.
Distantes das dores iremos sentir
Away from the pain that we all feel
Os muitos motivos prá não voltar.
