Hi there, I have been interested in photography for some years now. I bought my first SLR camera after travelling overseas in 1997. A second hand Canon Eos 500. But Films and processing got too expensive and I stopped taking photos for several years. It took me nearly 3 years to gather enough money together for a DSLR. I purchased my Canon EOS 40D in September this year (2008) and love being able to take as many photos as I like at no cost. So I am now getting back into photography and since I discovered FLICKR in November have discovered I have so much to learn. I used to think I was pretty good untill I discovered some of the absolutely fantastic photographers on FLICKR. So I have begun the never ending quest for the perfect shot. I am addicted.
