[bold]I’m art and music; colors and sounds; rock or classical, either makes me dance round.[/bold]

[i]Now, don’t’ misunderstand, I don’t want to capture it exactly as everyone sees it. I want to capture it as [bold] [/bold]I see it,…... so that I can show it to those who can walk right past the most beautiful things in the world and [bold]MISS THEM[/bold]. I want to help them see what they miss . That is one of the reasons you will see things in my artwork as mundane as, a glass of tea, a shot of vodka sitting on a colored countertop with a mirror above. OMG.. Colors everywhere. I seldom get to my own food or drink in such a place.[/i]

And then there the side of me that is totally immersed in music. Blues, normally, but I’m quite capable of enjoying almost any kind of music, from classical to rap, rock to ballads, opera to honky tonk. If its’ music, I’m not only going to like it, I’m going to want to be a part of it.

I don’t talk much about my education, however, this is a page about “who I am”, so, for factual benefits, I will just say that at one point in my life, I discovered that I could learn anything, I mean anything, that I chose to learn. Unfortunately, I discovered it too late to get the right first degree and spent way too many years in a dreadful accounting job, who’s only redeeming value was that i could travel, anywhere, anytime.

I used to volunteer to travel, as nobody else wanted to go, but I did. I’d go anywhere, anytime, with no notice and no knowledge of what I’d find when I got there.

Then, if I happened to NOT speak the language, I would learn it, (remembering, now, that I can learn anything I want to, it’s a gift and a curse.) And that is the short version of how I got to Russia, many times, and through the volunteer work that I did there, I was given an honorary degree, in Russian. LOL. Of course, it took me five years of grueling volunteer work and a magic turn of events that allowed me to accomplish what I did, but that is a story for another time.

Enjoy my photos and art and I thank you for LEAVING THEM HERE!!
