I'm a self-taught mixed media artist, teacher of decorative painting, a wife, a mother, a daughter of the Divine, a human rights activist, animal lover and maker of all kinds of crafty things, not necessarily in this order!

I have always wanted to express myself in a creative way but could not find the medium that would bring me the most satisfaction. When I found Mixed Media, everything changed, it felt as if the Universe finally made sense to me and all fell into place!

My earliest memories are of loving to draw and paint more than anything in the world and I would spend hours sitting on the floor with my crayons, markers and colored pencils translating with my hands all the creatures and things that inhabited my mind and begged to be born on paper.

I find inspiration in everything around me. The beauty of nature, an exceptionally gorgeous sunset, the feeling of the wind brushing against my face, the music of my most beloved musicians and composers, gazing into the eyes of that one special being I happen to be in love with, the art of my favorite artisits, a smile on my son's face, something silly my dog's done and even in the most mundane of activities such as watching suds forming on the surface of a dish I'm washing. Inspiration is everywhere, in everything, all the time if only we allow ourselves to be open to the beauty and poetry of everything around us. Did I mention I'm a hopeless romantic?

My Fine Art Paintings, Pet Portraits, Fantasy Art Illustrations, Miniature Art and Decorative items have been exhibited a number of times in New York City and can be found in private and corporate collections around the world. Two of my Fantasy Art illustrations titled "Summer Dream" and "Pixie Laments the End of Summer" have been selected to be a part of the FAE - Fantasy Artists of Etsy 2009 calendar. My painting "Daydreaming Pixie" won an honorable mention at Ann Kullberg's FMP Annual Members Show.
