My name is Ada Rosman and I received by BFA in Metals from the University of Washington in 2007. The pieces I make are continually influenced by the past. My own past is both exciting and complex. I was born in Warsaw, Poland. When I was very young my family decided to emigrate from what was then Communist Poland. I have spent most of my life in the Pacific Northwest.
My work continues to by influenced by my culture and historical moments in the past, but recently also by my travels. Thanks to travel I have come to realized that each place, every new person, and diverse culture continually influences my work. I am absorb everything around me and reshape it into wearable artworks.
