I recently purchased a DSLR Nikon D60 (Sept 2008)and am learning to use it. I'm very interested in nature, as you can see from my photos. Most of my photography is shot in Hamilton, Ontario Canada where I live and I mostly get to these places by bus as I don't have a car. I would like to get out to more places further afield.

Update Jan 24, 2009: I tend to take more bird photos than anything else. I'm still learning how to use the camera, but improving.

***New Nikon D90 camera*** first shots May 14, 2010, more complicated than my old D60, another learning curve..

Update Sep 04, 2010: Started my own flickr group Array. Check it out.
www.flickr.com/groups/array/

Update Oct 11, 2011: I love animals and try to capture them doing what they do naturally.

Update: Dec 12, 2011:Hey, I just published a book of some of my favourite shots in 8x10....check it out and get it if you like it :

    Corrie Brookhouse (ADORNMENT PHOTOGRAPHY) says:

    ""Where do I begin??

    Lorraine is the real deal.

Her birds in flight (BIF) photos are out of this world..they all tell a story.

Lorraine has a heart filled with humor, and spreads it to all who row through her stream.

Expect the unexpected:....you may see a photo of a Mallard Duck...that looks like a bowling pin.....and the next day, you will see a photo of 10 Ducks...lined UP as bowling pins...!!!!

Lorraine has a stream packed with powerful, wonderful photos, all that will keep you coming back for more.....one is too many and a thousand is never enough!!"
