I'm a rose lover, dog lover, cat lover, horse lover and all of that is so much more easily done with a camera in hand. I have to admit roses are the easiest of the subjects, requiring little grooming and they are very patient about keeping still. I've currently have about 100 different types of roses and always find something to enjoy about them. I live in the semi-arid desert of Eastern WA and I'm a very amateur photographer. I'm learning about the fun of it, but it's champagne tastes on a beer budget so I upgrade when I can, but learning new things all the time.
