His photography first off is amazing, every shot he posts is well thought out and nothing is substandard (unlike some other people)! He has a great eye for shots many of us would pass by and makes it fantastic! Personality wise I love his honesty, he tell it as it is and by letting us know how he feels in his own world I think is very liberating, lots of people are on flickr but we never know anything else about them besides their photos, which lets be honest is never as good as having a story attached, so today when he was feeling down and let us know I really respected that as we all have our off days and its great when flickr can do abit more for you than admire your photos. I think my toothache is making me go off on a tangent and I hate to re-read lol!!

About a year ago now i wrote to Carl and ask if he would be so kind as to allow me the use of some of his photos to donate with other friends from Flickr and accross the world, to help raise funds for local charity work and support in our community. Some of his work has gone to make greeting cards, that have been sold at various fund raising functions with all 100% of the sale going to the charity, to date thanks to Carl and my other friends who so kindly took it in there hearts to support me in this work, have helped me raise well over £200 in various functions and ALL the funds have been given to various local charities, my contribution, been some of my photos and whatever it costs me to make the greeting cards.
