    bruxella says:

"I have been on Traceur Zeno's tracks almost since I have become a flickerian. If it were only for this long time he has become close to my heart. I have met him only "virtually", but I feel to know him very well.

Having myself developed a personal relationship to Glasgow over the years, his pictures had nevertheless always something new on offer. I was drawn into his stream, discovering new places and faces every time I went there. In the beginning there were mostly pictures of empty or deserted places, but bit after bit the pictures changed and ever more Glaswegian characters entered Zeno's scenes.

Zeno is a master of street photography: he has a highly developed feeling for composition, the right moment and, what is most dear to me: a marvelous sense of humour. His approach is sensitive, he gets close to people, but never too close, thus his portraits are never offensive."

    Universal Pops (mostly inactive) says:

"Traceur Zeno is a skillful photographer who brings intelligence to his craft. In his street shots, he can quickly assess a situation and make the insignificant assume depth and importance. Subtlety is one of his trademarks; he has a knack for the right title, and how he uses background images and signs is brilliant. In photos of urban decay, Zeno shows an uncanny sense of stress and tension, frequently manifested through a wonderful use of line. Despite recording the foibles and follies of people on the street and depictions of urban neglect and abandonment, there’s an underlying warmth and optimism to his body of work. He allows the lens to make his statements."
