Sono una ragazza di 25 anni (nata a Legnago il 15 maggio 1986) che ha intrapreso un percorso nell'ambito delle arti fotografiche dalla fine del 2007.
In qualità di artista, i miei studi possono sembrare piuttosto atipici: dopo aver conseguito il diploma di ragioniere e perito commerciale con il massimo dei voti, mi sono laureata in Lingue e Culture per il Management Turistico e il Commercio Internazionale. Nonostante non abbia mai studiato arte a scuola né frequentato corsi di fotografia, ho cercato sin dall'infanzia di allenare i miei occhi a rintracciare la magia in ogni cosa, seguendo gli insegnamenti di un'artista stimolante con cui ho il piacere di vivere - mia madre.
L'obiettivo della mia fotografia è quello di mostrare le meraviglie di un mondo minuscolo ma ricco di significati, dando a ciò che passa inosservato (che non risiede necessariamente soltanto nella natura, ma potrebbe anche tradursi in un sentimento sconosciuto all'interno di ognuno di noi) la possibilità di essere notato.
Quasi tutte le mie fotografie sono state scattate in giardino o da mia nonna, poiché credo fermamente che anche i luoghi più comuni siano pieni di bellezza per gli occhi di coloro che sanno apprezzarla.

English bio:
I am a 25-year-old Italian girl (born in Legnago on May 15, 1986) who has undertaken a pathway in the field of photographic arts since late 2007.
As an artist, my education may seem quite atypical: after achieving a diploma of accounting and commerce with first class honours, I got a bachelor degree in Languages and Culture for Tourism and International Commerce. While I have never studied art at school nor attended photography lessons, I have tried since childhood to train my eyes to see magic potentially everywhere, following the teachings of an inspiring artist I have the pleasure of living with - my mother.
The purpose of my photography is that of showing the wonders of a tiny yet revealing world, giving the unnoticed (which doesn't necessarily lie only in nature, but may be an unknown feeling inside each one of us) a chance to be noticed.
I take most of my photographs in the garden or at my grandma's, as I passionately believe even the most common places have plenty of beauty for those eyes that can appreciate it.
I hope you enjoy my portfolio and let yourselves be charmed by the meaning behind it.

"Ho conosciuto le fotografie Elena per caso, mentre mia madre, anche lei appassionata, sfogliava le pagine di Flickr, una sera di un po’ di tempo fa. Se devo essere sincera, la prima cosa che mi ha colpita è stata la sua raffinata capacità di usare la luce, soprattutto quella accecante, quella che solitamente mi induce a scartare una fotografia. Osservando bene le immagini del suo album, ho iniziato ad ammirare la sensazione di incandescenza che trasmettevano, sono stata conquistata dall’uso della luce forte come parte integrante del significato trasmesso dalla fotografia.
Ogni particolare quotidiano, e ai più insignificante, attraverso gli scatti di Elena, diventa qualcosa di speciale, ricco di significato che va al di là dell’apparenza; diventa fonte di riflessione.
