Many years ago I worked in a camera store and most of my customers bragged about their equipment instead of their photos. I have a Canon DSLR, FujiFilm rangefinder, a little Canon point-and-shoot and an iPhone. I doubt you can tell which camera took which pictures so I sometimes wonder why I have so much money invested in the DSLR.

I don't make my living taking pictures but I have been having fun with photography for over 40 years. I studied wedding photography and portraits with Monte Zucker and dance photography with Lois Greenfield. I continue to build a new portfolio using digital equipment and I am gradually converting many of my old negatives and slides to digital for display on the web.
