Hi!
I'm Dorrie. I'm married to a sweet guy, who indulges my fabric endeavors. I left the world of education to be a stay at home mom to our 5 wonderful kids. I have a credential in mathematics, but most of my teaching is done around the kitchen table. I work a few hours a week at our local quilt shop~it's a wonderful place filled with modern and contemporary fabrics! I'm also an autism activist and mother of multiples.

I've been sewing for as long as I can remember~and still love it! Quilts, bags, garments, home dec, it's what I love. My oldest daughter and I also love furniture restoration~it's amazing what a bit of sanding, a new coat of paint and hardware can do.

I enjoy walking the trails of Bidwell Park, spending time in my garden. I love the sunshine and spending summer evenings with my husband and kids barbequeing by the pool.
