I have made a serious commitment going back to older tech cameras. The quality of camera you get on the used market is pretty astounding...Basically traded a new 7D for a used 5D and 1D Mk2 and will get better performance.

Canon 1Ds Mark III Sold, Oh why did I sell it? Incredible image quality and performance, it was just a little too expensive to carry around. Never felt comfortable with it.
Canon 20D Dead... Err 99'ed... RIP old friend. Must have taken close to 50,000 shots with this great little camera.
