I've been involved in photography since I was small boy, my first ventures being with my moms polaroid SX-70. Years later it was a Yashica medium format twin lens reflex camera when I took my first photography classes in high school. A wonderful camera and the beginning of a life-long hobby for me.

As the years have gone by, I've used many different pieces of equipment and have realized that the most important thing about taking good pictures is not the equipment, but your own vision of what you want to communicate.

I have always been fascinated with photography as an art form and it's ability to take the simple recording of something in a particular moment in time and transforming that into something that can transcend the medium and communicate the entire range of human emotions. The whole can be greater than the sum of its parts.
