Hi, I'm Charles, Rolfey to my friends.

I'm 15 and I'm a photography enthusiast. I take loads of (hopefully good) photos in my free time, which i don't seem to have enough of at the moment.

My ultimate goal is to become a professional photographer in a few years time, so every view and comment from you guys is helping to make that dream come true, and I honestly can't thank you enough for all your kind words (and criticism).

At the moment I'm still in full time education, studying hard for my GCSEs so I have a back up plan if my photography doesn't work out. Anyone reading this for the first time, feel free to leave comments and criticism (constructive please!) on my photos. Also, if you like my work SO much that you want a permanent bookmark - add me as a contact. If you do, I'll almost always take a look at your photos, leave some comments, and add you as a contact too so I can see all your new photos.

If you want to ask any questions about how I take my photos, or the gear I use, feel free to email me (though mostly this info is included in the little blog posts under my shots. Also, if you want to see a photo of me (for whatever random reason) you can find one in the "Self Portraits" set in my photostream

Over the last three years I've tried my hand at just about every type of photography imaginable, from macro to landscapes. I got some of my best photos yet when I went to Iceland with a school party last year, including my most "interesting" shot of Skogafoss waterfall. Currently I do mainly landscape photography, but I'm working on my portrait and fashion photography skills. I also take the occasional candid or macro shot if something unusual catches my eye.

As for my other hobbies, I don't really have time for them. When I do have a bit of time, I like to relax by reading or playing video games, and also by cycling and going for long walks in the countryside. I find when I have a lot on my mind (as I often do, with work, exams and school) then there's nothing like a long walk to let me think through my problems and clear my head. I sometimes go out for a walk without my camera, but still keeping my eye open for shots, then if I see anything I can fetch my camera and bike and go back to "get the shot".

I used to play A LOT of video games when I was a bit younger, but I so rarely have to time to sit down and play on the Xbox now. If anyone out there is interested in having a gaming session sometime, and has an Xbox 360, then my gamertag is BloodLiteOnline.

Stuff I'm looking forward to right now... My super long summer holiday after my exams. Going to Cornwall with my best friend (will be some awesome photo opportunities there!). Maybe going to Spain with my family. And lastly, my work experience with a law firm :D

Stuff I'm NOT looking forward to now... 14 more exams...!.!.!

Anyway, that's me just about summed up, and as i said previously, if anyone does want to leave comments on my shots or add me as a contact, go ahead.
