Very exciting new project about to launch. Pinup Burlesque Fabulous Book full of YOU!

The brief is very very flexible, all I want to do is feature you in a book where the keywords are

Retro
Glamour
Pinup
Lingerie

Rockabilly
Sexy
& YOU!

And anything and everything that is red lipstick, gorgeous make up, provocative poses and YOUR creativity! Don´t worry if you are not a professional, i´m sure there will be some professional work in the book, but what makes it so special is that it is a compilation of the REAL us, REAL women so don´t dare think i´m not good enough to be featured, because YOU ARE!!!

And if I can just add one IMPORTANT thing...the book is NOT JUST about photography. Art, drawings, sketches, retro magazine covers, graphic design, vector. Whatever medium rocks your world, include it. The only brief is that it has to be...sexy, burlesque, pinup and FABULOUS! (Sexy legs in old fashioned suspenders should be in the brief too I think!)


I´ll need to know the model´s name and the photographer and a url or website link to put in the acknowledgements of the book of course so that if people love your work they can contact you directly.

If you´d like to take a look at my first book it´s below...and I want to make a magnificent coffee table book featuring the gorgeous Facebook girls that i´m finding in groups that i´m browsing. Vintage, Bettie Page-a-likes, corsetry, pouting...you do it best. I´ll leave it in your capable hands.

Like most of my favorite things, this book started as a very whimsical idea that captured the imagination of others and turned into a living, breathing entity all its own. It all began one day when I was browsing through Facebook and noticing the various political groups and banners and mentions. Now, I´m no expert on US politics (I'm from London, darling, so that's my excuse) but I thought that no matter what your political persuasion, surely there has to be something more popular than Obama with1.7 million fans.

And so, the idea of setting up a Kissing fanpage was borne. Everyone likes kissing--at least, that´s what I´d imagined. And though I wasn't sure if everyone would click "Become a Fan" to the tune of millions, it seemed like a fun thing to find out.Within one week, the Kissing page had 100,000 fans--more than Smirnoff Ice, Kylie Minogue, Dragon Ball 2, Kit Kat, KFC, Sony Ericsson--and had reached first place in its own “Services” Category, outranking Nokia, Converse Ltd, Yahoo! & Sony.With even more fans than David Beckham! Not bad for a whim of an idea that received zero publicity and has only grown organically through the Facebook viral distribution mechanism.

It's a beautiful thing, really--you see, every time a fan interacts with a fanpage, the actions they take are automatically generated into social stories, which are published to their News Feed, which friends may see the next time they log into Facebook.And thus, by cyber “word of mouth,” the network of Kissing fans started to grow.Well, once my little fanpage started getting so much attention, it seemed a waste of a click not to provide something nice and community based to offer people when they visited the page.

And so, after a few days, I decided to launch the Facebook Kissing Book project, inviting anyone and everyone who interacted with the page to submit their artwork, writing, photography and personal anecdotes with a kissing theme.I had no idea I'd receive such an enormous quantity of offerings! It has been a joy to open every email, read each note, and marvel at the creative talent displayed in each image and phrase.

It would have been impossible to put everything into one volume, and to those of you who didn´t make it to print, I thank you for your generosity and am so grateful for all those beautiful kissing moments that you have shared with me.This little book is a gift I have created from the many, many gifts that I received from others who are fans of kissing and all its wonders.

I hope it inspires you to spread a little more love and affection in this world, both virtually and lip-to-lip.
