Adele van Heerden is an artist living and working on the outskirts of Cape Town. Having graduated at the Ruth Prowse School Of Art in 2010, she works obsessively, using and combining unconventional and traditional media.
Her work is informed by her experience in her culture and society, and the absurd tendencies thereof, as well as her current studies in Politics at the University of South Africa.

Her resume includes work in galleries and the curating of five group shows, conceptual artworks for movies and advertisements, as well as social awareness work with Heart Global, Consider Us and Urban Guerilla.
