The Global Youth Village is an international youth camp where people from around the world meet and share their lives in a global community . Workshops on peacebuilding, developing tolerance and understanding across cultures, religions, gender and social differences bring promote friendship and shared values of trust, compassion, regard for others, service to humanity and care for the environment. The Global Youth Village is operated by Legacy International and is affiliated with the United Nation’s Department of Public Information as a Non-Governmental organization. The Global Youth Village has been an ongoing project since Legacy’s founding, and more than 3500 alumni circle the globe. Legacy is accredited by the American Camping Association and does not discriminate in its membership, admissions, employment or procedures.
