If people add me as a contact or choose my images as favorites - but don't have any image offerings of their own - I will block them. Flickr is about sharing, not taking.

Another disturbing trend I've come across recently is people arbitrarily adding my name to their image when the image has nothing to do with me. Presumably they hope to lure my contacts into hitting on their image. I consider this a dishonest way to get hits, and will block anyone who does this. If you want more hits, try taking better pictures.

That said, I'm open to all sorts of exchanges with people who genuinely love photography and shoot from the heart. There is some stunningly good work on display at Flickr. Time and again I am amazed at what I see.
