"Ken's photos...I'll sum it up in three words: quality, fun, and varied. But the man behind the photo has left more of an impression on me. Ken is undoubtedly a great photographer who's always willing to share his wonderful photo techniques. I've certainly learned from him. He is generous with comments and encouragement. For this, I have great respect for Ken. Ken is also a beautiful person with a witty sense of humor and the biggest heart ever. And, oh, what a terrific writer and story teller he is! My life has been enriched simply by knowing him.

I just adore this man. ;-)"

"Ken Anderson is very good photographer. His photos are beautiful, interesting and they are well made. Ken loves the place where he lives and where he grew up. His nostalgic photos and stories I like the most.
I appreciate his kindness, frankness, his spontaneity and his good sense of humor. He sometimes complains that he is an old man, but it is not the truth. His spirit is independent and still young.
There is a warm tie between us – me, living there, in Warsaw, and Ken, living in beautiful Tennessee. I am glad that owing to such wonderful thing like Internet we met and Ken became my friend.
    He is a great person."

    jikido-san says:

"Ken is the smartest person I have come across on Flickr. He has the ability to use his intelligence to shoot beautifully and to capture the sublime. He also provides an honesty in his photography, a documentary of his part of the world which, I have not had the opportunity to visit, but feel a need (now) to see, hear, and experience. I am grateful that he has opened my eyes through his pictures.

Whether Ken acknowledges this or not, he is a teacher and a good one at that. He is not critical other of others' photography or attempts', even though he could (and probably should), but instead, he encourages and points the way, and that is appreciated. Even though I have not met up with him in person, I know it is a struggle for him to get up every day and to do what many of the rest of us take for granted. I seek his postings because I know that I am going to marvel and learn. This is what makes this community great, and I respect Ken for always being honest and providing me with a sort of map of where I would like to go, in my photography, in my travels, and this long road called life."

"As most of us, Ken is also bearing some deal at his shoulders. In spite of that, he is full of humour and good mood. He has a great sense for beauty.
And such is his photography. Full of good mood, great ideas, interesting moments, little beauties... I am often amazed by his eye for detail. He is able to see such things that I would hardly do. Sometimes, I am really surprised when he pays attention to such little things at my photos that nobody else could.
If you are looking for some cliché, you will not find it here. But Ken's photography is full of spirit! Moreover, Ken always knows what he wants to tell us with his photos.
If you are interested in and you look into Ken's photostream deeper - deeper, up to the essence of his photos, he will no more be "anonymouse" Ken for you. He will be just Ken.
That Ken, who is my good flickr friend :-)"

"Ken, I am so glad to have found you as a Flickr friend. Your photos are so interesting and diverse, it is a pleasure to see them every day. I look forward to seeing what you have posted because I know they will be fantastic. I have learned much about photography from your photos and the techniques you use are amazing. I don’t know how you do it. You are an artist not only with photography but also the written word. You always leave wonderful comments on my photos and I look forward to seeing what you have written. Thank you for being a wonderful friend."

"I have found a true internet friend in Ken. Just being on his portfolio brings a smile to my face. His wit and humor show in his comments on our photos and on his own. These traits are doubly evident on his blog; while his writing blog has some rare and insightful observations of the human character, in a rather Mark Twain-ish way.

His photography shows his interest in preserving some of the history of the area where he lives, as well as striving for the best possible composition and light control. I especially like his black and white conversions.

    Keep on clickin' and flickrin'!!

"I met Ken some months ago when I saw a photo of a godforsaken farm that caught my attention. I asked him some questions about the farm that he always answered kindly. Since then I have continued his track across his beautiful photos. I have discovered his beautiful country and his love of the nature. I feel proud to have him as a friend."
