i've always been a consumer of beautiful things -- literature, art, people, places, food -- one of those folks who'd rather go hungry than miss an exhibition or the hardcover edition of a book i love.

now i've taken (hard and fast) to photography. flickr's addiction is a beauty addiction, and i'm shocked to discover how deeply, how viscerally, how sexually some of these images have struck me, and who knows why, but opening up to photography like this has changed me sexually, or corresponded to sexual changes. in short, i've come to crave women.

inevitable? perhaps. beauty runs hard toward the feminine.
