Apart from ships, I am into watching and photographing civil and military aviation, flying in Flight Simulator 2004 and FSX, sailing around Europes ports in Ship Simulator 2008 (brilliant - try it!), architectural photography, reading crime and military fiction, listening to music, driving my BMW Mini and collecting aviation art.

Have completed my RYA Day Skipper Theory and Practical, Motor Helmsman Practical, Marine VHF SRC and Marine Diesel training. RYA Radar will be next, prior to buying a motor cruiser later this year. Something of a dream of mine for a while now..

Current photographic equipment comprises: Panasonic DMC-FZ100 bridge camera, Nikon D300 body, Nikon F100 body, Nikon 24-85 AF-S, Nikon 70-210 AF D, Nikon 50 f1.8.
Nikon 80-400VR and 18-200VR2 lenses.

My Billingham 335 bag is a bit on the heavy side now!

I am looking to reduce this collection to just the Panasonic, so if anyone out there is interested in some Nikon photo gear in excellent condition, please get in touch.
