"What separates snapshot from art is a tripod and Fuji Velvia film" - Philip Greenspun

I've been interested in photography for years, and thanks mainly to digital photography, I've been able to indulge my passion for it over the past few years. My Flickr site reflects this.

I don't try to ascribe any meaning to pictures that I take or have them try to "tell stories". I just take pictures of things that look good through my viewfinder. The ones that I think other people might like, I share on here.

Some pictures of mine have made it to Explore. It seems rather arbitrary which ones Explore picked.

Furthermore:

- The photographic styles of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Garry Winogrand are copied far too often. Photography should be about originality and creativity, not duplication.
