"SToppin proves that simple lines combine to make beautiful things. Forms emerge from smooth, organic curves. Swelling bulges and spheres grow out of chaos. Flames erupt from sagging objects that fold over others. What SToppin does with a pen is like no other artist. Instead of using a line as tool, she uses it as art. Her creations are natural, organic pieces that evoke images of genisis, flight, implosion, destruction.

One could marvel at the technical skill alone that she puts into her art. Her pieces are realistically abstract -- while obviously abstract, they seem like they could fall right off the page at your feet. Perspective, folds, curves, shadows are all executed with a masterful attention to detail. One feels the opressing weight of her giant forms and the almost giddy, light feeling of her simple small sketches.

The sheer volume of her pieces is amazing itself. One would expect repetition in such a massive number of pieces, but each drawing and painting is refreshingly new. The variety in her art is amazing, spanning from small doodles to massive drawings of epic proportion. And yet each is carefully crafted, seemingly never rushed.

SToppin doesn't stop with just ink, however. Her paintings are masterpieces, vibrant explosions of color and emotion. Her collages are stunning, unique, creative. She creates dripping shapes and forms that remind one of animals, but on closer inspection are made from arms and legs.

SToppin is, in a word, amazing. Her art is stunning and new. I look forwards to seeing her new pieces, and find myself in awe and at a loss for words each time."

Her art looks like the embodiment of creativity, colours flowing and bleeding into each other.
Also an incredibly sweet, kind person.

"SToppin is one of the atist on flickr, one of the best at abstract, and one of the best in the world. thank god she has more attention than me because if i had more than her, i would literally be upset. her colors choices and techniques are unique and beyond fantastic. i really like how her self potrait came out. i thought i would never find a collage artist as good as the great romare bearden, but ihave, and that is almighty SToppin!"

"She found me first, which I was amazed at considering her huge amount of skill and the quality of my stuff compared to hers. I have no idea how she pumps out so many awesome pieces or how you come up with the designs for sticky ickies, paintings, photoshop stuff, and of course, the woman part collages (that sounded creepy). I am extremely flattered by her compliments towards my work, but I think she deserves more of the praise."

"SToppin makes me realize that art is truly the best religion their is and the most beautiful. she continually inspires and relights the pilot light in my head every time she adds more to her photostream. A great quote she said to me, and other flickrheads, in a message was "Art is Sanctuary". To me that is something i never was able to express or realize on my own. i thank her for her existence and constant support for the many fledgling artists, like myself, and add a quote from Edvard Munch- "Art is Crystallization"- i like his quote but prefer hers."

" Stoppin is everything art should be. Her work is pure abstract expression that conveys all kinds of feelings and emotions. Her style is so original and creative, I wonder why it is not recognized by a larger audience. She is an inspiration to me and the artistic community."

"Your work gives the impression not only of a very skilled and talented artist who 'can', but more importantly 'wants' to create artistic images - there's a certain feel of urgency in your work which i love. A real testament to a true artist."
