I have been taking photographs since the 1970s, mostly of urban documentary subjects. Eugene Atget is a favourite photographer from long ago, lugging his view camera around the streets of Paris. Also, Paul Barkshire, who - with his own out-of-time view camera - made pin-sharp images of London circa 1980.
