Hi, my name is Joel and I'm currently a Graphic Design major at the University of Florida. I love having fun with graphics but photography is where my passion lies. Portraits are the most fun--I love being able to capture an expression; being able to freeze emotion in a photo. I'm a big fan of bokeh and golden hour.

Randomness: I'm the shy kid in the corner you won't speak to until our paths inevitably cross a year later. Then we'll become friends. I don't like crowds but I hate being alone. Give me a few close friends and a camera and I'll be a happy boy. Say something funny and I'll be curled over in pain 10 minutes later. I like simple things and complication takes a toll on me. I'm really not as crazy as I may seem; I'm just a bit weird. I am however, relatively quite normal. I can be a contradiction. I don't like the edges of homemade Jello and I like and respond best to "nice."

I could be pretty anti-social but it’s not because I choose to be. Say hi and let’s get through all the awkwardness of becoming friends. =]
