'Snowden''s photostream

I was introduced to photography as a child in the late 70's to early 80's by my mother, who was a keen photographer. She used to go to a photography group on an evening, where she occasionally took my brother and I, as subjects for the group to photograph.
I started out at the age of 10 with a simple Kodak 110 film camera, which I loved at the time, but had nothing other than flash on/off and the shutter button, it had no zoom or shutter speed options, then I received a Canon point and shoot brick sized 35mm film camera for my birthday when I was 21, which had zoom, along with a few basic settings. This lasted me for quite a few years, until around 2005, when I bought a Nikon digital camera, then a few years later a Canon DSLR.
I have, from quite a young age, always taken photographs.
I am interested in most forms of photography, from landscapes to portraits, still life to wildlife.
