I used to take a few pictures to illustrate magazine articles I'd written, mainly about mountain biking, adventure racing and other outdoor pursuits. In 2005 I got involved in event photography and now run a small business doing that. I'm working hard on bringing my technical skills up to scratch which recently has included learning some off-camera flash techniques. I'm also starting to branch out into some other subject areas that interest me (food) and am looking to take on commissioned work.
